I hope you are all having a great Monday, so far.

Mine started splendidly. I woke up feeling chirpily happy, and went to make my regular breakfast of rice bubbles topped with sliced banana, with a latte.

Those who know me, know I love my espresso machine. Those who know me, also know I am a bit (ok, so I’m being kind to myself!) of an airhead.

So. I had poured the espresso shot and put the mug back on the cup warmer while I frothed the milk. When I was ready to pour the milk, I picked up the mug from the cup warmer and, as is my habit because I keep the mugs upside down on the mug warmer, flipped it.

Oops.

Coffee all over the floor and the cupboards. It was soooooooo much fun cleaning that up, I can assure you. Still have to scrub the grout between the tiles when I get home. Yay.

It was a fantabulous start to the day but let’s look on the bright side — it’s bound to get better now!
